Gramophone to publish archive of articles

Gramophone magazine is to publish its entire archive of over 100,000 articles on their website.

It is expected that every word ever printed in the classical music magazine will be online by September 2008 and it will subsequently be linked to a download and mail order service in January 2009.

Articles set to be published on the searchable database include a commentary from Sergei Rachmaninov on the state of piano playing during his time and contributions written by Sir Simon Rattle and Sir John Barbirolli.
