Fragmented Orchestra looking for soundbox sites

PRS Foundation New Music Award winners Jane Grant, John Matthias and Nick Ryan are asking the public to submit suggestions as to where they can place the 'soundboxes' that will form their brain cortex-replicating project, The Fragmented Orchestra.

The project will see 24 soundboxes installed around the country.  These boxes will contain recording devices and speakers and are to be both inter-connected to one another and also feed into a central hub in Liverpool's FACT gallery.

Anyone who would like to make a site nomination can visit the Fragmented Orchestra website which also contains extensive information on how the project, which is set to launch in December 2008, will take shape.
