Folk debate to take place in London

An event in which the resurgent state of British folk music will be debated is due to take place at the Vibe Live bar in East London's Brick Lane.

Who gives a folk?, part of the Battle of Ideas 2008 festival, will see the likes of music journalists, folk enthusiasts and folk musicians including Chris Wood and Barb Jungr debate the present and future of Britain's folk scene.
