Ex-Arctic’s bassist forms Indie supergroup Mongrel

Former Arctic Monkey’s bassist Andy Nicholson has joined forces with members of Reverend and the Makers and Babyshambles, as well as current Arctic’s drummer Matt Helders, to create Indie supergroup Mongrel.

The band have just finished their first recording at Dean Street Studios, London.

The first record from the new musical project is entitled Better Than Heavy and is due to go on sale 27 October to be followed by a tour later in the year.
