Mojo award nominees announced

Duffy leads the way in the nominations for the 2008 Mojo awards receiving nods for best album, breakthrough act and song of the year.

Alex Turner also had reason to feel cheerful as both Arctic Monkeys and his side project The Last Shadow Puppets received two nominations apiece.

The awards will be given out on 16 June 2008 at an as yet un-named London venue.
