Duffy scoops Mojo best song award

Duffy's Mercy has scooped the award for best song at the 2008 Mojo magazine awards held at The Brewery in central London.

The Welsh singer lost out to The Last Shadow Puppets in the best beakthrough act category.

Other acts to receive gongs at the reader-voted awards included Paul Weller, the Sex Pistols and Genesis whilst The Specials were inducted into the Mojo Hall of Fame.
