Coldplay working on new studio album

Coldplay have been working on their fourth studio album with producers Brian Eno and Markus Dravs in anticipation of an early summer 2008 release.

The band began writing the yet-to-be titled album at their North London studio in 2006.

The release of the new album will precede a tour of North America and Europe for which the band have been liaising with celebrated set designer and lighting specialist Paul Normandale.
