Classical recognition for Sting and McCartney

Sting and Sir Paul McCartney will compete for Album of the Year at the 2007 Classical Brit Awards.

The PRS members' nominations were announced last night at the awards launch. Singer Katherine Jenkins also received a nomination in the same category.

Sting's Songs From the Labyrinth and Sir Paul McCartney's Ecce Cor Meum (Behold My Heart) will battle it out when The Classical Brit Awards take place on May 3rd 2007 at the Royal Albert Hall.
