Clash concert to receive official release

A popular bootlegged video recording of a celebrated Clash concert at New York's Shea Stadium is to receive an official release on 7 October 2008.

The gig from 13 October 1982 formed part of a US tour where the band supported the Who on their "Farewell" tour.

The official release is set to feature favourites such as London Calling, Police on My Back and The Magnificent Seven.
