Changes to UK Chart

Singles releases carried on USB memory sticks will be allowed into the chart coming into effect on September 16 (chart week 38).

This change to the UK chart rules, aimed to boost sales for the physical singles market, has been announced by The Official Charts Company and the Chart Supervisory Committee.
 
Other changes announced are the inclusion of a one track CD single and a new format for the two-track single comprising one main track and an additional track/ringtone/video on the physical release.
