British success at Grammys
Robert Plant, Coldplay, Adele, Radiohead, Duffy and Pater Gabriel did Britain proud at the 51st Grammy Awards.
Between them, they won 14 awards across several genres.
Robert Plant and Alison Krauss took five Grammys - for all five of their nominations, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals, Best Country Collaboration with Vocals and Best Contemporary Folk/Americana Album.
Coldplay brought home three, including Song of the Year for Viva la Vida, and Best Rock Album.
Adele was voted Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and
Duffy took Best Pop Vocal Album for Rockferry.
Peter Gabriel won Best Song Written for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media for Down to Earth from Wall-E.
