Bono to turn his hand to journalism

Bono is due to write a selection of articles for the New York Times throughout 2009.

The U2 frontman will pen between six and ten articles for the US daily on subjects ranging from global poverty to the music of Frank Sinatra

U2 are currently working on their upcoming album No Line on the Horizon which is scheduled for a 2009 release.
