Billy Bragg to tour the States

Billy Bragg is to embark on a tour of the US in support of his twelfth studio album Mr. Love and Justice.

The singer/songwriter will kick proceedings off in the state of Philadelphia on 17 October 2008 and then set off around the country taking in the likes of Ithaca, Boston and Washington DC before rounding the jaunt off with a show in Asheville, North Carolina on 2 November.

Bragg's tour will include a set at New York's music and film festival CMJ on 25 October.
