Belfast Nashville 2009

PRS is sponsor the fifth Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival, set to take place between 18-22 February 2009 in Belfast City.

This celebration of the Sister Cities link between Nashville and Belfast will play host to no less than thirty concerts. It also feature a schools outreach programme whereby artists, incluing Nashville's Nanci Griffith, have agreed to visit local schools to take part in the Panarts inter-community creative writing programme ‘Learn About Us’.

Another event not to be missed is Steve Harley's 'Behind The Songs' on Thursday 19 February where the former Cockney Rebel lead man will not only perform his songs but will also talk about the inspiration for his songwriting.
