Bee Gees honoured with award

The Bee Gees will be honoured as icons at the Broadcast Music Incorporated (BMI) Music Awards in May.

The special honour will recognise their ‘unique and indelible influence on generations of music makers’ BMI said.

The Bee Gees had nine number one hits and have sold more than 110 million records.

Last year the Bee Gees won the prestigious Ivor Novello Fellowship Award.
