Bee Gees honoured in LA

The Bee Gees were honoured at the 55th Annual Pop Awards hosted by BMI in Los Angeles last night.

The trio of bothers were named BMI Icons for their ‘unique and indelible influence on generations of music makers’.

The awards celebrate writers and publishers of the 50 most performed songs on US radio from the past year.

Last year the Bee Gees won a prestigious fellowship at the Ivor Novello Awards, sponsored by PRS.
