Beatles songs to be used on videogame

A selection of Beatles songs are to be used in a video game which is being produced by the people behind the popular Rock Band franchise.

Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have had an input in the development of the game which is due out in 2009.

McCartney commented that "The project is a fun idea which broadens the appeal of The Beatles and their music".
