Beatles music acts as memory trigger
A study by the University of Leeds - dubbed the Magical Memory Tour - has found that music by The Beatles has the ability to act as a particularly powerful memory trigger.
The scientists who conducted the research were impressed with the ability of the Fab Four's music to conjure up memories of events that had taken place up to 40 years ago in listeners.
The research found that the songs which generated the most memories were She Loves You, I Saw Her Standing There, Imagine and In My Life.
