Congratulations to the winners of the 2010 Brit Awards, hosted by comedian Peter Kay and sprinkled with special performances by artists including Lily Allen, JLS, Kasabian, Cheryl Cole, Robbie Williams, Florence Welch and Dizzee Rascal.
Rapper Dizzee Rascal won British male solo artist, while Lily Allen won Best female. The British group award was won by rockers Kasabian, while Lungs by Florence and the Machine and JLS' Beat Again were Best album and Best single respectively. Up and coming Ellie Goulding was voted Critic's choice. The Biggest winner of the night though was Lady Gaga with three awards - International female, Best International album and International breakthrough act.
Robbie Williams received the Outstanding contribution award and The Spice Girls were presented with the prize for the best Brits performance of the past 30 years for Wannabe in 1997. Liam Gallagher stepped onstage to take the Brits album of 30 years for 1995's (What's The Story) Morning Glory?
