Van Morisson to play landmark gig

Van Morrison is to play his classic 1968 album Astral Weeks in its entirety at two gigs in Los Angeles.

The Irish soul man, accompanied by many of the musicians who originally played on the album, will play at the Hollywood Bowl on 7 and 8 November 2008.

Astral Weeks Live At The Hollywood Bowl, comprising of live material from both gigs, will reportedly be released later this year.
