Artists perform at Pavarotti tribute concert

A number of celebrated artists from the worlds of popular and classical music performed at a benefit concert marking the first anniversary of Luciano Pavarotti's death.

The concert took place on Sunday 12 October 2008 in the ancient city of Petra in Jordan and featured Placido Domingo, Andrea Bocelli and Sting amongst its headline acts.

Proceeds from the concert will go towards aiding Afghan refugees.
