Have your work displayed in Berners Street art exhibition

Calling all budding artists: the MCPS-PRS Alliance will be hosting The TOP 100, a music-inspired art exhibition which will run in the Berners Street basement and reception from 4 December – 22 January.

The Alliance has partnered with a group of London-based visual artists, Fitzrovia Noir, who are organising this exciting and unique art event.

The TOP 100 invites submissions of 2D artworks inspired by a piece of music - this could be a fantasy album cover for a favourite artist, or an interpretation of a song or lyric…you decide.

Members entering the competition will have:

• their work displayed on the Top 100 website (www.presentingthetop100.com)
• the opportunity to have their work selected for the final exhibition by a professional judging panel
• members shortlisted for the exhibition will be invited to an exclusive private view event on 4 December at Berners Street
• all works selected for the exhibition will be available for public sale (with monies from the sale being returned to the creator, minus 10% of the commission, which will be donated to our charity partner, The Teenage Cancer Trust www.teenagecancertrust.org)

Competition guidelines:
Submissions must be of album cover size, 12 inch square but can be in any 2D medium: photography, painting, print, drawing, graphics, comic strip, or collage.

The Top 100 will go on show in the reception and basement of our Berners St offices, and then travel on to Brighton to be exhibited during The Great Escape.

A final exhibition (location to be announced) and naming of the Number 1 will take place in June 09.

Entry to the competition costs £15, which covers all administrative costs.
