Arctic Monkeys top of NME shortlist

With seven nominations under their belt, PRS members, Arctic Monkeys, lead the way for this year's NME Awards.

They will be up against Babyshambles, The Cribs, Klaxons and Muse for best British band and in the best album category, they will compete against Babyshambles, The Enemy, Klaxons and Radiohead.

Winners are voted for by NME's readers and will be announced at a London ceremony on 28 February.
