Amy Winehouse will be appearing on this Saturday’s Strictly Come Dancing as a backing singer for her goddaughter, Dionne Broomfield.
Dionne, a 13-year old singer from from Kent is set to release her debut album Introducing Dionne Broomfield on Lioness Records, godmother Amy’s record label. She will be performing her debut single, Mama Said on BBC1’s popular show.
On the BBC website, Mark Linsey, the BBC’s Controller of Entertainment Commissioning, said: 'Dionne is an exceptional new talent and it will be an extra special event for our viewers to see her perform alongside Amy Winehouse, an artist we have been looking to book on the show for some time.'
