Albarn to collaborate with 100-strong choir

Damon Albarn has revealed that he is collaborating with as many as 130 musicians for his latest record.

The album, set for a July 2008 release, is to feature a 100-piece Chinese choir on one of the tracks as well as a full orchestra.

The Gorillaz front man and composer of opera Monkey: Journey to the West has revealed that the new project will have a simian theme to it.
