Adele's 19 to receive US release

Adele's debut album 19 is to be released stateside via Columbia Records and XL Recordings in the summer of 2008.

The singer has enjoyed a dream start to her career, winning a Brit Award and seeing 19 hit number one in the UK and her single Chasing Pavements peak at number 2.

Adele is currently on a tour of North America which is taking in New York's Joe's Pub and the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles amongst other venues.
