Line Up

Bobby Long
http://www.myspace.com/musicbobbylong
Bobby Long is 22 and has been writing songs for 5 years. After composing a song that was included the film of Twilight last year, he is currently mid way through a 95 date solo tour of the USA. The second half of his US “Dangerous Summer Tour” resumes with support from Flipron in New York on the 24th October, where Bobby plays a further 39 dates before breaking on the 19th December.
Bobby Long has received over 1,000,000 plays on his MySpace page and has sold 10,000 CD’s since January 2009, he is signed for publishing with SGO/BUG MUSIC. He is looking for a record deal.
Influenced by predominantly American folk, blues and jazz, Bobby Long’s ability for crafting a melody belies his youthful age. His songs are timeless.
Flipron
http://www.myspace.com/flipron
Flipron are a thrusting lyrical inventiveness & imagination high onto the shoulders of pop, with a quintessentially English sound shamelessly veering between cartoon psychedelia, dark bluesy confessionals & dusty drinking ballads. Their most recently released album was 2008’s Gravity Calling, produced by legendary Damned drummer Rat Scabies, the title track from which had the rare honour of being played twice by Jonathan Ross on his hugely popular Saturday morning BBC Radio 2 show.
They will be touring the United States in October/November. They can’t wait!
Daily Telegraph
"...woozy bohemian pop massacre...brilliant but frankly unclassifiable.”
Music Week
“ … Glastonbury’s macabre funsters are at the top of their game. With great writing and such a clear musical identity, you just have to smile and submit to their charms”…
Vera Bohl
http://www.myspace.com/verabohl
Lush Americana pop with layers of lazy latin rhythms, lap steel and a gentle country twang from Berlins VERA BOHL - a bit Spaghetti Western, a bit Nancy Sinatra going organic and making mischief in Nashville. Bohl sings and plays keys and guitar. Her voice is breathy and rich. She is accompanied by her band The Boys Brigade, which have been compared to Nick Cave's Bad Seeds. Her latest EP was recorded in Nigel Godrich’s Hospital studio.
Time Out
“Saloon-folk from the lounge-and-Spaghetti Western -inspired Bohl"
BBC Radio
‘Vera Bohl…along the lines of Cat Power’
