VinylVinyl revival

Sales of 7in singles have risen by 13% in the first half of 2007, claims a new report.

The report, released by the BPI, highlights that two-thirds of all singles in the UK are released on vinyl as CD singles decline in popularity and sales.

The vinyl revival is being credited to indie bands such as Franz Ferdinand and Arctic Monkeys, who have a strong student following.
