UK albums success in the US

UK artists are enjoying record sales success in the US and account for one in 12 albums sold there.

The success of albums from the Beatles, James Blunt, Arctic Monkeys, KT Tunstall, Amy Winehouse and Snow Patrol has contributed to the British presence in the US charts.

The Beatles' Love album was also amongst the top 10 best-selling albums by UK artists.
