Ian WrightIan Wright

MCPS board director Ian Wright, has died aged 57 following complications relating to treatment for cancer.

Ian began his career in the mid 1970s as an agent and promoter with M.A.M plc, where he later became a Director. In 1980 he co-founded TBA International Ltd, one of the most successful agency and tour promoter companies in the 1980s.

In 1987 Ian set up XL Talent, an artist management agency, and in 1991 formed Reverb Music Ltd and Reverb Records Ltd.

The XL Talent partnership manages an international stable of prominent record producers and songwriters, and young new artists. Reverb Records handles the licensing operations of several independent labels and Reverb Music is one of the UK's leading independent publishers.

Ian had served on the MCPS board since June 2006.
