Contemporary music scholarships on offer

The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance has announced the launch of over £30,000 worth of scholarships.

The scholarships give talented musicians the opportunity to study a Diploma in Popular Music Performance at the Institute.

The Diploma in Popular Music Performance will begin in October 2007 and is a specialist one year full time course, developed by the Institute to train and develop students of guitar, bass, drums and vocals for a career in the music industry.

Previous students who have gone onto have successful musical careers include PRS members Radiohead, Keane and KT Tunstall.
