Album sales up

Album sales were at one of their highest points so far this year last week with a total of 2,398,020 albums sold, as reported by Music Week on 1 July.

The number of albums sold saw a 12.8% increase week-on-week.

PRS member Amy Winehouse's album, Back To Black, has climbed back into the Top 5.
