PRS for Music Appoints New Executive Director of Finance
PRS for Music has announced that Craig Nunn has been appointed Executive Director, Finance and Facilities, taking up the position from March 1st 2011.
Craig joins the organisation with over 20 years experience of finance in large organisations, bringing with him a wealth of business experience in financial and managing director roles, particularly in delivering joint ventures with partner organisations.
Before joining PRS for Music, Craig was the Finance Director of Serco’s £1.1bn Civil Government division, where he headed up the finance and commercial team and structured a groundbreaking partnership between Serco and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust – the first of its kind. Reporting into Chief Executive Robert Ashcroft, Craig will help shape and seal new partnership agreements, and will focus on operational efficiency to help the organisation work smarter. PRS for Music has developed strategic partnerships with Swedish society STIM for its copyright database ICE and the Nordic Copyright Bureau, for recorded media processing.
Craig Nunn said “I’m very excited to join PRS for Music, an organisation which plays such a necessary and valuable role in the music industry. There are many challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for the organisation and I look forward to utilising my experience of developing and nurturing relationships, putting positive solutions in place which in turn will help drive value to our members.”
Robert Ashcroft said “Craig brings an exceptional combination of knowledge, skill and experience to the role and I’m delighted to welcome him onto the team. His previous experience of delivering joint ventures with partner organisations will prove invaluable to PRS for Music in the rapidly changing world of collecting societies, ensuring we continue to deliver an excellent service to our members”
