Meet the team

The team works to raise awareness and understanding around PRS for Music – who we are, what we do, how, why and who for.

We do this through participation at industry events, engagement with music colleges and universities and through our own events. We build on our existing talent identification networks so that we proactively get to know those who need to know about us.

Andy Ellis

London & South Eastern England - Senior Manager, Education and Outreach

Andy has been active in the music industry for over 30 years. During that time he’s been involved with music publishing, A&R, artist management, fund raising, marketing, communications and music education.

His current role, leading the Education and Outreach team at PRS for Music, allows him to bring all of these strands together, helping music creators better understand PRS and it’s role; what it is, what it does, how and for whom, while at the same time signposting some of the ways in which aspiring music creators can generate an income and develop a career.

Claire also organises industry events across the South West as well as hosting advice sessions. As a big lover of Festivals, Claire’s favourite time of year is the festival season with Isle of Wight Bestival being her most beloved where she saw her favourite band The Cure in 2011.
